Bitcoin ASIC Miner Hashboard Repair Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, diligent Hashboard Repair Technician. In this role, you will be tasked with identifying and repairing problematic miners, ensuring they operate at their maximum hashrate potential. You will also be responsible for monitoring your tasks and managing your inventory. As an expert in ASIC repair, you should be able to work independently. Please note that this position involves up to 50% domestic travel.



  • Mastery of Repair Process: You will be expected to be proficient in the entire miner repair process, from initial identification to final resolution.

  • Reporting: Regular submission of detailed reports on data points, ticketing, and inventory to the Hashrate Manager is required.

  • Strategic Planning: Anticipate potential future bottlenecks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate these issues.

  • Self-Management: Demonstrated ability to manage workload and time effectively, adhering to deadlines, and ensuring high-quality output.

  • Client Services: Travel to clients' sites to arrange and complete repair projects.



  • Proven experience in Bitcoin Miner Hashboard Repair and Bitcoin Miner Power Supply Repair.

  • Experience with Circuit Board (PCB) repair.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Fluency in either English or Mandarin. Bilingual candidates will be given preference.

  • Technical proficiency in non-lead soldering, TTL debugging, and use of multi-meters.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability in self-management and organizational skills.

Physical Demands

This role regularly requires sitting, manual dexterity, reaching, and communication. Occasional standing and walking are required. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.



  • Turnaround Time: Measure the average time required to repair an ASIC miner.

  • Quality of Repairs: Track the percentage of repairs that do not require future interventions.

  • Hashrate Recovery: Monitor the amount of hashrate recovered post-repair.

  • Hashrate Online: Ensure the hashrate remains online and stable post-repair.

  • Accuracy of Reports: Maintain the precision and reliability of all submitted reports.
